Case: WML

Everday recently completed a successful project at WML in Beegden, resolving all outstanding issues from the Scope 12 report. Through a combination of technical expertise and a thoughtful approach, we were able to overcome complex challenges.

Description of activities

To fully resolve the Scope 12 issues, we carried out the following work:

• DC cable route reconnected: This was a crucial step to optimise the electrical infrastructure and meet applicable safety standards.
• Equalisation addressed: We have ensured proper earthing and conductivity within the plant, increasing safety.
• Installation removed with manbasket and crane: Some outdated components had to be safely removed and replaced, with working at height posing an additional challenge.
• Slant field installation complete re-replacement: This involved a thorough overhaul of a key part of the installation, requiring customisation to ensure safety.

Solutions and impact

With the work carried out, all outstanding issues from the Scope 12 report have been fully resolved. This means that the plant now once again meets the standards used and WML’s premises are again insurable. The insured period was coming to an end, necessitating swift, competent and effective action.

Conclusion

This project was a great challenge in which technical knowledge, efficiency and safety came together. Thanks to a structured approach and the deployment of specialised resources, we successfully helped WML and ensured that their premises were once again fully insurable. A successful project with great impact!
